The following sets out the conditions of use of the Grampian Country Food Group website.
This website (“the Site”) is published by Grampian Country Food Group Limited, a company incorporated in Scotland (No. SC100976) and having its registered office at 20 Queens Road, Aberdeen, AB15 4ZT (“Grampian”).
Grampian is the ultimate holding company of the group of companies trading under the name “Grampian Country Food Group” (“the Group”)
The following paragraphs set out the conditions of use of the Site. Your use of the Site is subject to the terms set out below. Please read them carefully before accessing any other pages in the Site. Your use of the Site is conditional upon your acceptance of these terms. All the contents of the Site and downloads from it are owned by or licensed to a member of the Group unless otherwise stated. All rights reserved. Nothing in these terms transfers to you any rights of ownership of any intellectual property rights, or constitutes a license to use such intellectual property rights other than to the extent expressly set out in these terms.

We permit you to make copies of the content of the Site as necessary incidental acts during your viewing of it; and you may take a print for your personal use of so much of the site as is reasonable for private purposes. What law governs this website?
Your use of the Site and downloads from it, and the operation of these terms, shall be governed in accordance with the laws of Scotland. The Scottish courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of your use of this website.
In the event that any or any part of the terms contained in these terms and conditions shall be determined by any competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent, such term shall to that extent be severed from the remaining terms which shall continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Collection, Use and Storage of Personal Information on the Site
Grampian collects information in the following ways:
User registration Online orders placed in our e-store Voluntary surveys Automatic tracking of IP addresses and browser types for systems administration purposes Chat rooms, discussion boards, online forums and other interactive technologies that may allow individual comments and messages to be tied to a guest's name or e-mail address Third-party software that tracks traffic directed to the Site from affiliate Web sites and the purchases that result from this traffic (this information is aggregated and is not tied to an individual purchase) Aggregate information from other entities with which we have strategic alliances regarding traffic patterns, click-through registrations, user feedback and information, purchases, and other usage data.
Grampian collects the following types of information from registered guests and purchasers on our Web site:
Name, e-mail address, home address, additional shipping address(es), home phone number and credit card information, in addition to data about site browsing and purchasing.
Periodically, we also collect demographic information and customer feedback through surveys posted on the Site. This information may include age range, gender, areas of interest, and familiarity with Group channels, products and services.
Grampian uses information:
To improve the overall experience on the Site based on guest feedback and survey results To create a convenient and easy-to-use shopping process that includes an online "shopping cart" that allows guests to track selected products and proceed through purchase To e-mail its registered guests and customers about new products, services and events To estimate its audience size; measure aggregate traffic patterns; and understand demographic, customer interest, purchasing and other trends among its guests and customers To monitor traffic to and from entities which have formed strategic alliances with the Group To compensate affiliates for traffic directed to the Site and purchases that result from this traffic
Grampian stores information in the following ways:
Guest registration data is stored on its servers to enable quick purchasing in its e-store; an individual guest's data can only be accessed with a valid guest name and password (which the guest selects during registration), or by authorised personnel within the Group. At the choice of the registered guest, credit card information may be stored with his or her saved account information. Data entered during the e-store order process (including credit card) is encrypted prior to transmission to Grampian’s order fulfilment system.
Steps Grampian takes to Ensure the Privacy of its Guests
Registered guests and customers may change or remove their account registration at any time (see the How to Change Your Information or Opt Out section below). Grampian does not share or sell information that identifies its guests personally or makes it possible for other parties to contact them directly, except to (i) other members of the Group; and (ii) entities directly associated with the Group in the form of strategic alliances that the Group has authorised to display co-branded Web pages or links to Grampian. However, we may disclose personal information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform with the law or comply with legal process served on a member of the Group or the site; (b) protect and defend our rights or property, the Site, guests or the public.
Please be aware that we provide links to third party Web sites as a service to our guests, and that no member of the Group is responsible for the content or information collection practices of those pages. Please note that these Web sites' privacy policies may differ from those of Grampian. We encourage your to review and understand their privacy practices before providing them with information.
Please be advised that the majority of the Group’s retail marketing efforts are performed on a local basis, with names and postal addresses coming from local sources. Registration information given on the Site will not be used for such efforts.
How to Change Your Information or Opt Out

What happens once you have opted out?
If you choose not to disclose personal information on the Site you will still be able to use the majority of the Site, excluding any areas that require registration.
While we are working hard to implement the same privacy policy and practices across the Group’s many departments, channels and associated brands, we hope you will be tolerant if a mistake should occur. If you receive information from any member of the Group that you believe is unsolicited or unwarranted, please let us know as soon as possible by e-mailing info@gcfg.com. We will work to rectify the situation as quickly as possible.
Computer Cookies
Cookies are small pieces of text stored on your computer that help us know which browser you are using and where you've been on the Site. They also tell us which pages are being viewed and which are not. This helps us make the Site more user friendly for you. Our Site does not require visitors to accept cookies.

Children's Guideline
The Site does not direct itself towards children, and we ask that parents supervise their children while online.

The Site may make chat rooms, forums, message boards and/or newsgroups available to its online guests. Terms for Using Grampian Country Food Group Ltd. Linking Logos on Non-Grampian Country Food Group Ltd. Sites
Grampian may grant the owner of any approved web site permission to place the Grampian linking logo on his her or its web site subject to the following guidelines.
1. Permission to use only the Linking Logo provided by Grampian ("Linking Logo") is granted on a non-transferable, non-exclusive, temporary basis. You may use the Linking Logo only on your web site, and not in any other manner.
2. The Linking Logo includes the phrase "To GCFG.com" or "Click Here" or some other "button" which indicates the Linking Logo is part of a link to Grampian, not an endorsement of your site. It must always be an active link to the Site’s Homepage at http://www.gcfg.com.
3. The Linking Logo may be used only on web pages that make accurate references to Grampian or its products or services, and must be displayed adjacent to the reference or at the bottom of the same page. Your web page title and other trademarks and Linking Logos must appear at least as prominently as the Linking Logo.
4. The Linking Logo must appear by itself, with a minimum spacing (the height of the Linking Logo) between each side of the Linking Logo and other graphic or textual elements on your page. The Linking Logo may not be used as a feature or design element of any other Linking Logo or design.
5. You may not remove or alter any element of the Linking Logo. You may not alter the Linking Logo in any manner, including size, proportions, colours, elements, etc., or animate, morph or otherwise distort its perspective or two-dimensional appearance.
6. You may not position or display the Linking Logo in any manner that implies sponsorship, endorsement, or license by Grampian.
7. You may not use the Linking Logo on any site that disparages Grampian, any other member of the Group or any of their products or services, infringes any Group intellectual property or other rights, violates any state, federal or international law, or is defamatory, obscene or otherwise offensive.
8. These terms do not grant a license or any other right in Group logos or trademarks. Nothing shall be construed as conferring any license under any of the Group’s or any third party's intellectual property rights whether by estoppel, implication or otherwise.
9. Grampian reserves the right in its sole discretion to terminate or modify permission to use the Linking Logo at any time with or without cause and without notice. Upon receipt of such notice from Grampian the web site owner shall immediately remove the Grampian Linking Logo from its web site. In the event of termination, the disclaimers and limitations of liabilities set forth in these guidelines shall survive.
10. Grampian reserves the right to take action against any use that does not conform to these guidelines, infringes any Group intellectual property or other right, or violates other applicable law.
11. GRAMPIAN DISCLAIMS ANY WARRANTIES THAT MAY BE EXPRESS OR IMPLIED BY LAW REGARDING THE LINKING LOGO, INCLUDING WARRANTIES AGAINST INFRINGEMENT.
12. All users of the Site and the Linking Logo are deemed to have agreed to the Terms of Use posted on the site. Use of any other Group logo, brand, marketing materials or other proprietary works is subject to a separate approval and review at Grampian’s sole discretion.
